Install and open the add-on

1. Install Prereasoner Sheets Copilot from Google Workspace Marketplace.
2. Open the spreadsheet you want to analyze and reload the browser tab.
3. Choose Extensions → Prereasoner → Ask a question.
4. Review the requested permissions and authorize the add-on.

Permissions

The add-on requests access only to the current spreadsheet, permission to display its interface, permission to contact the Prereasoner service, and basic Google identity scopes used to associate conversations with your account. It does not edit the spreadsheet.

Multiple Google accounts

If Google reports a storage or permission error while opening the sidebar, use a browser profile or private window containing only the Google account that owns or can access the spreadsheet. Open the spreadsheet there, then authorize Prereasoner again. This avoids an Apps Script account-selection conflict.

Spreadsheet limits

The add-on reads up to eight visible, non-empty sheets, 10,000 data rows, 2 MB of text per sheet, and 6 MB of combined sheet text. Every analyzed sheet needs a header row and at least one data row. Hidden and empty sheets are ignored.

Previous conversations

Choose Extensions → Prereasoner → Previous conversations. Select a conversation to open it directly on chat.prereasoner.com. The list comes from your server-side Prereasoner account; the add-on does not keep a separate local conversation index.

Remove access or delete data

You can uninstall the add-on through Google Workspace Marketplace and revoke its Google account access from your Google Account security settings. Delete individual conversations in Prereasoner.
